My first 5K walk

Today I registered for the Komen Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley, MD on Sunday, October 21, 2012. I am so excited because this is going to be my first 5K walk.This a goal of mine from 2011 that I never completed so I added it to my 2012 goals and decided now is the time. Smash* books

I have found K & Company Smash* books and I'm now hooked. I have several books currently and hope to get some more soon. Currently I am working in my pink, blue and orange books and wanted to share some of what I have done with you all.

DT card for the week of 4/16 and 4/23/12

Life has been a little bit crazy and I forgot to post my DT card for last week. The theme for the week of 4/16/12 was flowers so I decided to do a Mother's Day card for Rick's mom.

The theme for this week is Black and White. Since I did a wedding themed card the last time we did the Black and White theme I decided to do something a little different.

Creations Etc is working on setting up a blog for the next DT term and as soon as it is ready I will post the blog address for everyone to follow.

Cricut storage and DT card

As you know I have been working on my scraproom makeover, yesterday I worked more on organizing my workspace so it works better for me. Here are two pictures of how I now store my Cricut cartridges.

Having them set up like this makes it so much easier for me to grab one if it's not linked to my gypsy or if my gypsy is charging. All my solutions cartridges are in the black container on top or the cubes. Ok now on to my DT card for Creations ETC for this weeks theme Color Inspiration - Blue and Green.

Stay tuned for more scraproom updates and completed projects. Also if you haven't noticed the blog button there is a blog hop coming March 29th and 30th that I am proud to be a part of. This is going to be the first blog hop that I will actually be in and I am excited. So excited that I have already completed my card for the first day of the hop and hope to work on my card for the second day of the hop this coming weekend.
